The exposed portion of this old red oak floor's finish was worn off and gray-looking. Moisture and dirt had seeped into the wood, causing this pattern. We applied fill to the floor to cover voids between planks or knot holes and sanded down the wood. Finally, we applied two coats of finish to complete this floor's new look.
Part of a gym floor from a local middle school found a new purpose in our client's home! This installation process involved multiple steps: once the client brought the pieces home, it was time to piece together the logo and take care of issues like holes from volleyball posts, or places that needed patching. Pieces were cut, ends were squared off, and these were glued on top of the concrete floor, followed by sanding and finishing with a clear coat.
